MEDIATREEWORKS WAS MAIN-CONTRACTOR OF E-SMART WORLD ASIA 2011

Media TreeWorks-Singapore has just completed another major exhibition project with Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).

As the appointed exclusive main designer and contractor of “E-Smart World Asia 2011”, MTW-Team worked painstakingly with KOTRA as early as November 2010 to create a concept that would present the ultimate idea of the entire ICT show.  Classified into three categories namely, Smart Government, Smart City and Next Generation Communication, the designer came out with three different designs to blend perfectly with each category. (images on the recent projects)

Given only one-day to build was the most challenging part for MTW team, but the teamwork, hardwork and selfless coordination of everyone made the installation and set-up smoother inspite of few delays.

The 2-day conference and exhibition show was held at Marina Bay Sands Hotel & Convention Centre, Singapore from February 23th to 24th, 2011. Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), aimed to provide value-added opportunities for government and corporate executives to experience three advance smart concepts from Korean IT companies.

A current Media TreeWorks masterpiece reveals as the Cineplex opens at Nex Mall Singapore.

Shaw Theater Facade

Singapore – After almost 24 months of thorough planning with Shaw and other related outfits, a new Cineplex is now open for the movie-going public at Nex Mall Serangoon.

It was in late 2008, when Media TreeWorks was appointed by Shaw Theaters to design a modern Cineplex that will cater to the meticulous standards of the paying movie goers. The task entails a lot of hard-work and research for the design team to be able to come up with a cutting-edge concept mixed with comfort and luxury.

The exquisite and ultra-modern design is very much depicted on the hallway leading to the 10 theaters while the open concept of the “box-office” suggests a vibrant ambiance with the beautiful luminous colors of lights changing every second.

Occupying a space of 3,700sqm, Shaw Theatres Nex boasts an array of 10 cinema halls and a seating capacity of 1,265 seats. There are dedicated in-cinema lifts for the handicapped, two of which are allocated for wheelchairs exclusively.

The Cineplex is equipped with digital technology, having five out of 10 halls are equipped with 3D. Moreover, it will introduce the "Premiere Screen" concept at 2 halls, providing deluxe leather seats and premium dine-in services.

According to Mr. Mark Shaw, Executive Vice President of Operations, "Nex's position as a major suburban mall well-connected by public transport makes it an attractive venue”. He said, “There’s no other cinema with as many 3D halls in one location as Shaw Theaters Nex.”
